With keen artistic insight and a thorough understanding of the “business behind the art,” Holley Sanford enjoys excellent relationships with artists, curators and galleries throughout the United States. -
Upon completing her B.A. in Art History and European Studies at Vanderbilt University, Ms. Sanford attended Christie's in London for an intensive study of fine and decorative arts. She has held positions at the Dallas Museum of Art, Marlborough Gallery in New York and Seattle's Mahler Fine Arts, a corporate and residential art consulting firm. In Seattle she also assisted in the orgnization of Art Fair Seattle, an exposition featuring the work of more than 50 galleries from across the United States and Canada. -
In 1997, Ms. Sanford formed Holley Sanford Fine Art, orginally based in Philadelphia to represent artists and to work with galleries to identify or commission artwork for placement in private collections. She has recently relocated her office to Jacksonville, Florida |
